Welcome to the online home of David Whyman, artist/craftsman of Ashwell, Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom.

I have worked in stained glass and decorative glass for over thirty years both in the United Kingdom and in New Zealand as well as many overseas locations and gained comprehensive experience in both the traditional and contemporary aspects of the medium. I recently retired from the practical work of the craft but retain a keen interest in all aspects of the art and craft of stained glass.

I have taken pride in being able to provide a full range of services including the creation of original designs for windows based on the unique requirements of individual clients, advice on any aspect of stained, leaded or decorated glass, full site surveys to determine the state of existing windows and the restoration, cleaning and protection of those windows.

It has also been a pleasure to pass on some of my skills through workshops which I conducted on behalf of the Stained Glass Museum, Ely.

I hope that you will browse the site and discover that I can assist you to realise a project which you may be planning.
